La galerie : an art gallery in Pompadour

I was born in 1952 at Beyssac quite near to Pompadour.

When I was very young, about 10 years old, I liked to immortaise passing moments with family, friends, neighbours..... with a black and white camera of the period, then, with the passing of time, in colour.

Family obligations, however, left me with only a very little free time, but from 2003 I was able to fully enjoy my passion.

Sometimes on certain days, I have to hunt for the images, but in general each photo represents an emotion.   I am never separated from my camera.

In July 2006, "I took my first steps with the CAPM*," where I exhibit each year, otherwise I can be found at various village fêtes (Gourdon-Murat for example on the last weekend of July), and at la Galerie d'Art in Pompadour.

For me photography is a deep-seated need (which I have passed on to my son Sébastien), followed by the pleasure of creating.

I work with a film camera.
